I've trained dermatologists, ophthalmologists, surgeons, dentists, nurses and beauty therapists to use lasers safely, and written laser safety courses for LPAs and practitioners in surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry, urology and veterinary medicine.

I also helped develop the current MHRA and BMLA Core of Knowledge syllabus. You can take my BMLA-approved course online, or I can run training tailored to your team.

Laser & IPL Core of Knowledge – online course

This online course covers the Core of Knowledge needed by anyone using lasers or IPLs for clinical or aesthetic treatments. It follows the MHRA and BMLA Core of Knowledge syllabus and is approved by the BMLA.

You work through four modules at your own pace: what lasers and IPLs are, laser and IPL hazards, safety management, and standards and guidelines. You then complete a written assessment, which I mark personally and give you feedback on. Once you pass, I'll email your certificate to you.
